Employee Free Choice Act
Given the election of President-Elect Obama, and Democratic gains in the House and
Senate, all non-unionized employers need to be aware of The Employee Free Choice Act
currently pending before Congress. President-Elect Obama co-sponsored this legislation,
and it now appears likely that it will be passed in some form. This sweeping legislation
would fundamentally alter how unions are organized in the American workplace and
how union contracts are negotiated.
